Below is listed the basic points, you will need to know prior to obtaining a trading position here at Kinross. We, as a company, do supply a number of 8 foot x 4 foot stalls, which are available on a daily rental hire. These stalls are available on a first-come-first-served system. We do not allow the pre-booking of any trading position.
Doors open at 07:00am. Trading hours are between 0830 am & 2.30 pm. We operate on a First-come, First Served System. We do not operate a Pre-booking service. Trading Hours are between 8:30am & 2:30pm. Upon arrival on-site, join the casual queue, which forms up within the front car parking area. This car parking area is supervised by members of staff. Once the main gates to the complex are opened, you will gain access into the main part of the site.
At this point, all vehicles which by now will have been formed into an orderly queue, will be able to enter one of the main trading halls, normally this will be Hall Three. You will be dealt with, one at a time, please explain to the member of staff, your requirements. You will then in-turn be allocated a trading position, normally this will allow your car/ van to be accommodated behind the trading position, that has been allocated to yourselves. Once you have been allocated this position, whip out your goods, set-up and start trading. As a matter of interest, you will find that a number of dealers/ buyers will be keen to see what goodies you have on offer.
Trading hours are between 0830 am & 2.30 pm. On-site catering is available, as well as on-site toilet facilities are provided. Rental charges and any other additional information you require can be found on adjoining page. Carbooting can be a fun experience, provided a few simply rules are followed.
