Steve Young. General Manager.
Steve joined the market team in November, 2000. as market DJ with a background of entertainment through mobile discos and wholesale / retail trading through nation wide cash and carry. Over the years becoming involved in the running of the Saturday Car Boot and Sunday Market taking over as general manager in September 2006.
Peter Akthar.
Peter is a fundamental part of our team. He is responsible for the allocation of trading space, within the Sunday Market as well as looking after our regular traders. He knows many of the traders personally and enjoys working alongside them to help the market flourish.
He has been on the market management team for a considerable number of years and is well respected by all.
Alex.
Important member of the team for all the hands on activities on the floor and coach / car parks.
Davy.
Another important member of the team is Davy. He is responsible for the cleanliness of the market site; don’t dare drop your rubbish in front of him.
